BYP is geared towards those who live, work and play in Belton, Texas.  Our community has great things to offer young professionals. Those amenities will be identified and enhanced through this organization.

Our members are generally between the ages of 19-40, however this age is merely a guideline.  Membership is based on your willingness to be young at heart, and not your birth certificate.  We are looking for vibrant people with fresh ideas.

PRO•FES•SION•ALS

Whether you sell fast cars or fast food, you have a place in BYP.  We need everyone from bankers to beauticians to make our community thrive.  After all, variety is the spice of life.  Spouses who support working adults are also welcome to join the fun.

Regional YP Field Day

The Belton Young Professionals along with the Greater Killeen Young Professionals will host an Annual YP Field Day on Saturday June 26th out at Stillhouse Lake Park. The Field Day is open to any and all who want to attend. There will be games, food and LOTS of fun. This is an all age, everyone invited event to help garner attention to these incredible groups. We will have multiple team sport competitions including:

Volleyball

Ultimate Frisbee

Horseshoes

Flip Cup

Greased Watermelon Toss

Tug-O-War

Beer Pong

Relay Race

The YP group that wins the most competitions will receive the coveted “I Survived YP Field Day” trophy which they will keep until next year’s event.

There will be activities for the kids also such as:

Kickball

Water Balloon Toss

Three legged Race

Tug-O-War

Hula Hoop Contest

What: Regional Young Professionals Field Day

When: Saturday June 26th, 11 AM to 5 PM

Where: The Island Pavilion at Stillhouse Lake Park

Who: Any and all who would like to attend

Cost: $5 per person, $10 per family. The YP’s will be serving free FREEB!RDS BURRITOS, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, water and sodas all day.

Please bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, and any food or beverages you may want (NO GLASS CONTAINERS)

Inside Track: Professional Development Lunch

Use your lunch hour wisely! Join us on Wednesday, June 30th for lunch in the park. We will join fellow Beltonians for the Annual 4th of July Celebration Kick-Off BBQ in Yettie Polk Park. Lunch is FREE for BYP members and $5 for non-members. Last month 13 people attended Inside Track and our speaker, David K. Leigh, told us ways to get involved in our city's government. June's lunch is sponsored by Belton Area Chamber of Commerce. Inside Track is usually held the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Central Texas Council of Governments building from noon to one.
